When Grief Feels Bigger Than Your Own
A moment of unexpected grief opened into a message about collective consciousness, change, and what may be trying to emerge through the chaos.
Originally written May 25, 2025 as a personal journal entry. What follow is the channeling exactly as I received it, with only spacing and paragraph breaks cleaned up for readability.
That evening, I was overwhelmed by a sadness that felt much larger than ordinary frustration with politics. I had been watching a miniseries about John Adams, and something about seeing the human cost behind the creation of the United States hit me differently—the convictions, sacrifices, families, conflicts, and lives that went into creating something people believed could become better than what had existed before.
Against the political climate of May 2025, I felt grief. I was angry about what I believed was happening to the country, but underneath the anger was something deeper: sorrow over division, the fragility of ideals people had struggled for, and the seemingly endless human cycle of fighting over borders, nations, power, and who belongs where.
I sat in my car and cried.
Then I picked up my daughter.
Without knowing that I had been crying, without knowing what I had been watching or thinking about, she suddenly began crying too. She told me she felt as though she could hear all these voices and that something had come over her. She said she felt like she was crying for everyone in the nation.
That stopped me.
Whatever someone chooses to believe about experiences like this, the timing was strange enough that I wanted to understand what had just happened. So I opened my journal and asked:
What are we picking up on, and what, if anything, are we supposed to do with it? Who would like to speak the truth to me in love and light with my highest good in mind?
This is what came through:
We are the collective. Not the collective of earthly humankind, but the collective consciousness of all beings “past, present, and future” as you would say. We are the “one” through all time, space and dimension. We are the collective that holds all knowledge, known and unknown. We will speak to you today, because we have the answers you seek.
You do well to ask what has occurred to you and your daughter this evening. You have opened up yourselves and have availed much. What does that mean, you ask?
It means, you have opened up a sliver of the veil to feel into the divine purpose that is coming your way and by that I mean the way of the new Earth. It will come like the birth of any new creation. From chaos, patience, gestation, pain and the last push of effort.
You ask what you can do and what is your part and you want to see the birth. You will. One way or another! You asked to be born during this eventful time of transition. You wanted to anchor in the light and energy of this change into the earth.
Like others chose to be born and be part of developing a new country. You wanted to be here for the development of the new earth. We gave you a taste of the knowledge of sacrifice of others before you. Others will also feel this.
It is just not the “present” earth dwellers who are birthing this new earth, but all of humanity throughout time, space and dimension-all of the sacrifice, willingness to feel pain and suffering and joyous occasions as well that are working as one to finally bring about this ascended earth.
Many attempts have been made and many experiments throughout various civilizations have attempted it. All of that knowledge from trial and error is now working in a way that is finally coming to fruition.
It is a time of joyous celebration of all galactic nations that are and have been anxiously watching, and awaiting for this “show”!
A Follow-Up — July 1, 2025
A little over a month after the original journal entry and channeling, I returned to my journal on a quiet morning and simply asked what message my team had for me. The response unexpectedly circled back to many of the same themes: collective change, individual inner work, new ways of living, and what a different kind of world might eventually look like. I recorded the message as coming from Archangel Michael.
You think you’re “only” one person in the world to affect the collective world that is in turmoil and chaos now, especially your country, the United States. But you “alone” doing what you do: being aware, cleansing out what is old and no longer serving you, is exactly the work that is enabling the change to be ushered in to change the entire makeup and processes the world is needing and going to use going forward.
If even a small percent (that magical 3%) of the earth’s population works only on themselves and becomes aware, to energetically be a clean and willing channel, then the new systems can be downloaded, installed and implemented--new ways of healthcare, education, work, service, hobbies, entertainment, and financial systems.
All is changing through love, abundance which is replacing fear and lack.
Systems for living in love and abundance, that can be the new earth. There will be more than enough for everyone to live and enjoy their lives the way they choose and it will be out of love. There will be no fear or lack, so crime is not a “necessary” result.
You fear you won’t see this in your lifetime. But what if your lifetime could be extended so you would be a part of that? Your age is being reversed. The more light that enters your body, the healthier it becomes.
You have a healthy heart. You have kept it healthy by not “barring” it up, or using it as a shield. Arteries “harden” when your heart hardens toward the world. When you harden towards the world and others, showing no compassion, then a physical heart will literally turn from tender flesh to stone.
This is not metaphorical. This is truth in physicality.
Doctors will soon see healing/health through the lens of spiritual, emotional and energetic bodies.
