We Were Never Meant to Be Divided
What if the qualities we call masculine and feminine were never meant to belong to one gender—or exist separately at all?
This came from a private journal entry on December 7, 2025, after a disturbing dream I couldn't bring myself to write down. I asked for the message beneath the dream rather than an interpretation of its imagery, and this is what came through. As with all of my channeled writings, I'm not sharing it as something you need to believe or as a factual explanation of history. Maybe you experience it as spiritual guidance, symbolism, subconscious processing, metaphor—or simply something interesting to wonder about. Take what resonates. Leave what doesn't.
I had been feeling grateful and peaceful about my family life, work life, and single life. I was happy, content, and not in a hurry or impatient for the unfolding of the next portion of my life.
Then, after feeling all of that the day before, I had a very long and disturbing nightmare. The images were too gruesome for me to even write down. So instead of recording the dream, I got up and asked my spirit guides and higher self what the message behind it was. What did it have to do with my own healing or life path?
I asked, Who would like to channel through me this morning?
Michael of Assisi.
I asked, Can you introduce yourself, please, Michael?
I am Michael of Assisi. I guard the vault of hearts—of broken hearts and broken minds. I mend the wounded on the battlefield. I heal those affected by atrocities that are not spoken of.
People run from hearing of them because they are too burdensome and hard to fathom. There is no understanding of why, so people don't want to face these atrocities. Much the same as you didn't even want to write down your dream.
So, I am one who is in charge of mending these hearts and minds.
I asked, What is it that I am to understand from my dream?
That this is a systemic atrocity. Rape and mutilation are such distortions of love and creation. They are the polar opposite.
It comes from an imbalance of male and female energy within each body and within the system of society as a whole. The mutilation of the physical bodies of women and girls—their genitalia and reproductive organs—is the result of masculine energy overriding and consuming creative feminine energy.
It wants to consume the energy rather than entwine with it.
A snake eating its own tail rather than entwining with another snake up the staff or rod and awakening the true snake that joins both masculine and feminine energy together—the Kundalini energy.
Feminine energy was pushed to the side while society tried to become dominant through the masculine. Then there became an overflow of masculine energy over the past fifty years or so. New generations want the nurturing and caretaking of the feminine again, so the masculine became toxic in an attempt to counteract it.
You are literally in the “upside down” here.
Every person, whether the physical body was born male or female, is meant to carry a balance of both feminine and masculine energy within themselves. The outside body can be anything. The role can be anything—the “role” of the avatar, that is.
But the spirit—the soul of a person—is meant to hold a balance of both masculine and feminine energy.
There has been a systematic, programmed division between the two, keeping them separate. One of the easiest ways to shut down creative energy is to shut down the womb—to make the womb barren and stop it from creating any kind of birth.
Not only physical children, but ideas.
Shut down emotions and sickness is created in the body.
Even within the women's rights movement, feminine energy became confused with masculine power. It didn't necessarily release women's true power. Instead, women were allowed greater access to structures that were already built around masculine definitions of power, while feminine energy itself still had very little room.
In that sense, feminism did not fully succeed. Women gained greater access to masculine systems, yet the feminine itself could remain devalued. Women see other women drowning, maimed, raped, and suffering while continuing to do what is expected of them. They are horrified, but they don't know what to do to fix it.
They feel powerless.
As women rise into their full femininity, it will also open the masculine within themselves. They will create and govern their own creation.
You are thinking that this may make it look as though men are not needed.
But as men see true power existing in balance, they will begin to feel safe enough to allow feminine energy within themselves. They will begin freeing themselves from stuffed emotions and pain they have experienced. They will learn to nurture themselves.
Then the masculine will rise within them in the form of protection.
They will be able to protect their own inner child from toxic expressions of masculinity and free the balanced soul within themselves.
Then traditional roles—or nontraditional roles—can exist within whatever body a person inhabits: trans, queer, gay, cis, and others. These roles can be lived within community in balanced and healthy ways.
A traditional wife and traditional husband, for example, could then simply be called balanced partners.
All of the upheaval around what is normal, abnormal, traditional, against nature, or against God is being shaken up so that it can eventually be sorted into what it really is:
Love or fear.
What is love is balanced—creativity, protection, nurturing, strength, and support working together.
Together, more life is brought forth.
Life in the form of new societies. New ideas. New ways of governing. New systems of education and healthcare.
Old structures that remain rooted in fear begin to fall because of this shift. Love has gained enough of a foothold in the populace to challenge these “false gods.”
New structures built on love and balanced equity are being birthed by those learning to walk in balanced energy—those who can move within creative, nurturing feminine power while also knowing their own strength and refusing to be overtaken.
At this point, I wrote:
I am having trouble getting this out in words. It's more of a feeling or knowing. Help me with the words, please.
And what came back was:
Spirals and lines.
Womb-an and man.
Flow and peaks.
Work with the geometrical shapes.
Enough curves eventually look like lines.
Enough lines eventually look like curves.
The right ratio creates beauty.
I encourage you to draw these. See where it takes you and what it opens up.
